Guests can wake up to coffee with a jaw-dropping view on the fully furnished screened-in porch located right off the main living area, or choose to wander out onto the spacious, attached deck. Closer to the water, you will find three patio areas, one with a built-in fire pit for after the sun sets. A second, raised deck sits right on the shoreline and offers lake views that one could only dream of. Enjoy access to two piers for swimming, lounging, or tying up a boat. There is even a water trampoline that is sure to be a hit with the younger travelers!
The home itself has been laid out with family getaways in mind. A great room with large farm-style dining table and a sectional seating area is overlooked by a magnificent kitchen that is fully equipped for all your cook-in needs. Three bedrooms, one of which offers lake views and has an en-suite bath, can also be found on the main floor, along with a second full bath and laundry area for your convenience.
Upstairs, you will find your master suite with gorgeous panoramic lake views made possible by side-by-side French doors- the perfect place to begin and end your vacation days. The final two bedrooms each consist of two sets of four built-in bunks, ensuring that every member of the family will have a place rest their head after a long day on the water or around town. Additionally on the second floor is an extra full bath and a kids-of-all-ages game room with a Golden Tee video game, pool table and dart board- all of which are sure to keep everyone entertained! Further, in the front of the house is a full length bocce ball court, which has held some epic family vs. family battles!
The unique attribute about the area is there are four-season activities for everyone to enjoy.
In the Summer and Fall, enjoy: fishing by boat or right off the pier (Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Perch and Bluegills), golfing, hiking (Kettle Moraine state forest is less than 10 minute drive), boating, kayaking (two kayaks provided as part of the rental), biking, hunting, camping, concert going (Alpine Valley is 15 minutes away), and or just being lazy in the water!
In the Winter and Spring, enjoy: skiing (Alpine Valley and Grand Geneva are 15 minutes away and Wilmot 45 minutes away), ice fishing (best spot on the Lakes for ice fishing is right in front of The Mill!), hunting, cross country skiing (Kettle Moraine state forest has designated trails), snowmobiling, and then after coming back to The Mill and cozying up by the fire in the family room.

by Mark and AimeeWe had an outstanding family weekend stay at The Mill/ Lauderdale Luxury Lake house. This location is terrific with lots of space well suited for just yours or a multifamily get away. The house is beautifully decorated throughout with all supporting necessities provided for the kitchen, baths etc. The dining table was enormous offering ample space for all to eat and play games. The sleeping options were more than accommodating & very comfortable. Our teenage+ boys loved the bunk beds. There are so many areas to enjoy outside, and the views are amazing! We spend the days enjoying the trampoline on the water, swimming, fishing, kayaking and the nights barbecuing, playing games, making s’mores at the fire pit, hanging out in the game room upstairs (Pool table and Golden Tee game!) or we simply lounged on the comfy couches in the screened in porch late night. Loved our stay…wish we could have stayed longer but we’ll be back!

by DanaThis beautiful lake house is perfect for a girls weekend or a multi-family getaway. The view of the lake is stunning, and there is plenty to do such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, and bocce. If you feel like relaxing there are several decks for sunbathing and a screened in porch for reading or napping! The interior of the house is spacious, clean, and well stocked with cookware, glassware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we hope to return soon!
