  • Do you have rentals in other areas?

    Yes, we have rental properties in Walworth, Kenosha, and Jefferson Counties. You can browse our available vacation rentals at this link: genevalakesvacations.com

  • How can I reserve a rental?

    You can easily book directly on this website, just like you would for a hotel reservation. We also list our properties on VRBO and AirBnB, but booking direct is the best way to save $$$$. If you don’t want to book on the website, give us a call and we can do it over the phone.

  • What is the required deposit?

    We accept a 50% deposit at the time of reservation, if your stay is more than 61 days away. At the 60 day countdown mark, the remaining 50% is due. If you are booking less than 60 days until your stay, the entire amount is paid at the time of reservation.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We want you here in town with us! But, we understand that things happen, so if you cancel at least 90 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund, less a $200 cancellation fee. If you’re between 60-89 days prior to your arrival, your deposit (50%), is non-refundable. If you’re within the 60 day countdown to arrival, there is no refund available, and you will lose all payments towards the stay. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in case of a last minute change in plans. We recommend Generali for travel insurance.

  • What items are included with rental?

    Linens, towels, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup wipes), garbage bags, dish pods, coffee, and paper goods will all be stocked in your rental. We provide a 2-3 day supply, so you may need to purchase extra if staying longer.

  • How often during my stay is my rental cleaned?

    Your rental will be sparkling clean and stocked upon arrival. If you would like to request a mid-stay clean at an additional cost, please contact us prior to arrival.

  • What is the check in and check out?

    Standard check-in is between 3 and 4 p.m. and check-out is between 10 and 11 a.m. depending on which property you are renting. You will receive this information in your informational email upon reservation.

  • What is the checkout process?

    We provide information on check out processes within your rental and we also send check out instructions to your email.

  • Do I need to clean anything prior to checkout?

    Nothing major, we simply ask that you wash your dirty dishes and take out the trash.

  • What are your pet policies?

    Each individual rental property has its own pet policy, but we do have many dog friendly properties available! Please give us a call to make sure we can accommodate your pet.

  • Can I have guests at my rental?

    As long as you are not over the maximum occupancy for your rental property, you may have guests visit. Please note, if you are staying at an Abbey Springs property, they will only provide one guest pass per guest up to the maximum occupancy. They will not give extra passes.

  • Does my rental include parking?

    Yes, some rentals offer more parking than others. Please check the listing you are interested in and call us to inquire if you have extra vehicles.

  • Is my rental childproofed?

    Most rentals are not child proofed. We are able to connect you with a local baby gear rental company to have items delivered.

  • Do you have pack n plays available?

    We do not have pack n plays, but are able to connect you with a local baby gear rental company to have one dropped off.

  • Do you have minimum stay requirements?

    Each municipality and property is different. We can accommodate stays from 1 night to 6 months. Please refer to the rental you are interested in or give us a call!

  • Does my rental have high speed wifi?

    All properties have Wifi, but speed can vary. Please call us to discuss if speed is a concern for your stay. We cannot guarantee it will be functional if there is an outage in the area.

  • Are there any noise restrictions?

    We ask that all guests be mindful of noise and neighboring homes. Most communities have quiet hours in place between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. on weekends.

  • Can I extend my stay if needed?

    Please give us a call if you think you may need your stay extended. It may not be possible if there’s another guest checking in.
